Introduction
These steps will get you to the area where you can test scanning barcodes and evaluating the data.

From the Home screen, choose the Apps button.

Find the ReaderConfig app and select it.

Touch the three dots on the top right corner of the screen.

From the drop down menu that appeared, press Scan Test.

You will be in an area where you can now test your barcodes. As you scan barcodes, you will see them populate in the white field.

When you want to clear the data, press the three buttons on the top right corner and hit Clear.

While in Scan Test, this is a great opportunity to test your device in your environment without inputting any data into other software. Take the time to place barcodes at a distance in the intended environment to get a feel for the distance of the scan.
