Introduction
This is how to enable Center Decoding on the GSS Mobile 1. This is a great first step of troubleshooting if you're finding your device not picking up the intended barcode information when you have a lot of barcodes clustered together.

From the Home screen, press the Apps button.

Select the ReaderConfig App.

On the next menu, press Scanner Preferences.

In the Scanner Preferences menu, check the box for Enable Center Decoding.

If the environment is too bright, you might consider turning off Decoding Illumination to help get more consistent scans.

Center Decoding will now focus on scanning barcodes the aiming dot touches directly. This should help resolve issues with the device picking up the wrong barcode information when more than one barcode is present close to each other.
