RFID Reader Configuration

If you already have the pcProx Configuration Utility, skip this step and proceed to Reader Configuration

1. Download the latest version
2. Install the software and use the default locations and settings during installation

1. Download the hwg+ file to be used during configuration
2. Open the pcProx Configuration Utility. It is located in All Programs > RFIDeas > pcProx5 > pcProxConfix.exe
   
   Tip: Create a shortcut on your desktop for faster access
3. Plug the RFID reader into your PC
4. In the pcProx Configuration Utility, press Connect in the top menu then select Connect USB
5. Once connected, select File in the top menu and select Open hwg/hwg+ file...
6. Navigate to the emc-v2-6-20-19.hwg+ file
7. Click the Data Format tab and verify the following
   • NEED TO EDIT THIS SECTION ONCE WE GET A NEW READER AND CAN TEST
8. Select 'Write Settings once the settings have been verified
9. Select Disconnect and unplug the RFID Reader
